Birmingham four-piece band, ‘Peace’, have unveiled their new single ‘California Daze‘, from their upcoming debut EP, ‘Delicious’.
The band consists of Harrison Koisser (vocals, guitar), Douglas Castle (guitar), Sam Koisser (bass) and Dominic Boyce (drums). Having debuted their track at this year’s Latitude Festival, the band have gained a lot of attention with this classic Indie anthem, filled with ‘Beach Boys’ style harmonies, resonating guitars building to a classic guitar solo and sentimental lyrics that conjures up a sense of nostalgia and summer love.
“Oooh she tastes like sunlight and she’s always going to be there in the back of your mind,
Is there time to rewind? Were you born to live or born to die?”
Peace have described their music as “dark melodic indie-techno“, but their new track ‘California Daze‘, is nothing short of a classic indie love song and takes on a different direction to previous singles such as ‘Bblood’ and ‘Follow Baby’.
Having already supported bands such as The Vaccines, Magic and Tame Impala, the band have a lot of upcoming performances on the horizon, including SWN Festival, gigs in Manchester, Edinburgh and Leeds and ending with their home-place Birmingham.
