If you’re lucky enough to be going to Reading and Leeds Festival this weekend, be sure to check out the BBC Introducing Stage, which supports unsigned, undiscovered and under the radar musicians. With so many new artists to look forward to, you could be seeing the Next Florence + The Machine, Ed Sheeran or MGMT, who have all performed on a BBC Introducing Stage in the early stages of their career.
One such act is ‘Dear Prudence‘, who recently supported ‘Haim‘ at The Great Escape Festival in Brighton. Their new track, ‘Coming Apart Again’ has recently been added to BBC Radio 1’s Introducing playlist. And the good news, you can get this track for free by clicking HERE! Similar to Charlie XCX, Dear Prudence channels the goth/pop genre and infuses it with with an 80’s vibe, to produce a bittersweet track filled with dark synths, building to an uplifting hook. Madeleine Poncia’s vocals are emotive and captivating, with some comparing her to Kate Nash. Paul Egan (bass), Rick Ahir (guitar), Andy Highmore (keyboards) and Alexis Nunez (drums), complete the 5 peice group.
There are so many great new artists performing this weekend, so in between your Bombay Bicycle Club, Azealia Banks, or Two Door Cinema Club, head on over to the BBC Introducing stage and watch these upcoming artists take centre stage.
