Time to slow the pace down a bit with the soothing sounds of Fionn Regan’s new single ‘The Meetings Of The Waters’.
The Irish singer/songwriter, whose 2006 track ‘Abacus’ was recently sampled on Bon Iver’s ‘100000(A Million)’, is set to release his first album in five years. The Meetings of the Waters perfectly captures Fionn’s harmonious indie-folk vibe, while the subtle accompaniment from his acoustic guitar, steady drum beats and flourishes of electronic elements all blend perfectly throughout. Produced by Fionn, Philip Tennant and Dave Granshaw, the album is set for release April 14th via Fionn’s own label imprint 常に愛 TSUNENI AI / ABBEY RECORDS, which means ‘Always Love’ in Japanese. Be sure to check out the video below to0, directed by Yousef Eldin and starring fellow Irishman Cillian Murphy. Upcoming dates for Fionn include a headline gig at London’s Union Chapel (April 7th)
