Tame Impala – Elephant

Australian psych-rock group, Tame Impala, have released their new single, ‘Elephant‘, which is taken from their highly anticipated second album, ‘Lonerism’. ‘Elephant’, presents us with a retro yet futuristic vibe, that just oozes groove rock.

Earlier this month, the band released a free download, ‘Apocalypse Dreams‘, as a taster of what to expect on the new album.

Front man Kevin Parker, spoke with BBCR1 DJ Zane Lowe, about creating the album by himself:

‘It’s a raw expression thing where anything can happen – thats the beauty of recording music endlessley by yourself.’

‘Lonerism‘ will be released on October 8th, while the US will see an October 9th release. Be sure to catch Tame Impala on their upcoming International Tour, including UK dates at: the O2 Academy – Brixton, HMV Ritz – Manchester, Leadmill – Sheffield and O2 ABC – Glasgow.
