Banks – Before I Ever Met You

Been loving Banks the past while, especially the stirring trip-hop track ‘Before I Ever Met You‘ – the B side to her latest EP ‘Fall Over‘.

With her eerie haunting vocals, deep sultry beats, the atmospheric track is thoroughly captivating with it’s almost menacing tone.

The LA based artist has been creating waves online with her mysterious presence, with all social media accounts being run by her management.  Having drawn influences from artists such as Lauryn Hill and Fiona Apple, there’s also a Lana Del Rey vibe about Banks with her moody repetitive hooks:

“Never knew I could be broken in so many ways”

The 4 track EP ‘Fall Over’ is available from iTunes and features the title track, a Sohn remix of ‘Before I Ever Met You’ and ‘Work’ feat Lil Silva.
